So sorry to hear of Herby's passing, I'll always remember him driving up the road home in his lorry and sitting beside Willy as he was teaching him to drive, he always had a smile on his face. May he rest in peace and in the loving arms and care of those loved ones who have passed before him. May God hold his family in his loving arms & help care for them during these dark days. RIP.

So sorry to hear of Herberts death used to love having chats with Herbert when i worked in the HSE Health Centre in Rathcoole what a lovely gentleman he was as was his beautiful wife June may they now both rest in peace Margaret Collins (X Rathcoole Health Centre)

I have fond memories of Herbie driving the Mack & Hino trucks in Roadstone, back many years ago, and him going home to his house in Saggart for his dinner everyday at lunchtime, with the trucks,
Herbert was one of the first men to wish me all the best, when I started driving trucks over forty two years ago.
And his words to me that day was, Just Be Careful, words that I never forgot from Herbie to this day.
May You Rest In Peace Herbert.
