So sorry to hear that Hughie has passed away. My mother Mary Dolan was a neighbor of the McPartlans. I remember many times meeting Hughie with his brother Stevie on the Grayfield Road. We always knew the great neighbours they were, ready to help whenever needed. My condolences to Annie and all the McPartlan family. May Hughie Rest In Peace

Was very sad to learn of Hugh’s passing - he will be greatly missed by all who knew him -sincere condolences to his sister Annie and her family ,his nephews and nieces and the extended McPartlan family and remembering to day his parents and our best neighbours in Corkhill : Jimmy and Mrs McPartlan (whose wonderful sweet apple tarts and large portions I still remember ) his brothers Jim John and Stephen all of whom inherited and shared the kindness generosity and hospitality of their parents and who we all in Corkhill still greatly miss -may Hugh rest in peace

The Mc Partlans lived in Corkhill and were always very good neighbours. There was a strong link between our two families and Hugh’s late father, Jimmy, was my godfather.
