It has been with great sadness that I learned of Jack’s death last week.
I have the loveliest memories of him going back to my childhood.
He would be singing a song or whistling a tune as he worked in the field beside us.
He was always kind, helpful, and most generous with his time. We have lost a great neighbour and a true friend. My condolences to Chris, Eileen, Bernie, Michael, Declan, Deirdre, Kieran, Fintan, Sean, his sister Nellie, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rest in peace Jack. Ar dheis De go raibh a h'anam dílis.

Jackie epitomised the volunteering spirit of Belcarra and will be fondly remembered by all he met, including all of the Kenny family, as well as his beloved parish choir.
Rest in peace Jackie, you have left a legacy that will not be forgotten. Belcarra has lost one of it’s finest sons but heaven has gained a mighty entertainer, a fine storyteller and singer.
