I was very sorry to hear of Gary's passing from the Chairman of City of Cork Male Voice Choir. Gary was a gentleman and a pleasure to sing with. I also knew Gary many years ago from my involvement in joint scout activities in Cork South West Region and from engaging with him as a solicitor in his work as an accountant. We were very sorry to learn of the passing of Gary. I got to know Gary through Kinsale Golf Club where he served as President , Secretary and Treasurer. He was instrumental with the Twinning of the Club with Langland Bay Golf Club Wales and Rhode Island Golf Club, U.S.A. This was part of the Twinning initiative of Kinsale Town with both areas. He organised a memorable trip to Langland Bay golf club in 2004 to celebrate their centenary.

I was saddened to hear of Garry's passing. I met Garry every week for a number of years while being tutored my Mrs. Fitzsimons in Math. He always provided me with a warm smile and invited me into his home.
Garry was a Stallworth in Kinsale and will be missed by the many lives he touched, people he influenced and inspired.
