Sincere condolences to Sheila, Michael, Peter, Helen, Sarah on the sad passing of Jim. He was a beautiful, kind and caring man and a wonderful uncle. Jim had an abundance of knowledge whether it was history,politics, sport etc , I always appreciated the chat with him, the laughs and the jokes. He loved Blarney Street and always reminded me that he came from Sraid Na Blarnan the longest street in Ireland . When we were growing up it was always a treat to go to Jim & Sheilas house as I would come to the door and Jim would shout to Sheila ( Sheila I don't want no apple now) Sheila always knew it was me at the door. I remember 1 day Jim brought the dogs down from Rathcooney ,got them sorted in the kennels he came into the kitchen for a drink. He polished off a glass of milk followed by a massive swig out of a bottle of cod liver oil from the fridge. My God for a man that I already admired,my admiration grew further for him that day.We laughed in the years after about this as I reminded him a few times. Jim thank you for always looking after us. RIP X

I was sorry to hear of the death of James. I knew him at The CCC in McCurtin Street as a wonderful brother in Christ. He is in The Heavanly Realm now with Jesus with whom he had a beautiful relationship.
