I met Jimmy on the 8th of November 1952, on board SS Irish Cedar, at Alexandra Basin in Dublin Port. We were meeting as part of the Deck cadet team of six on my first trip. I remember Jimmy with joy and his tales of Cobh life. RIP. Jackie and Helen Jordan.
