Irene I was so sorry to hear of Jer's death. It seems so long since you were both living in Ballinhassig. Jer like his father, was such a lovely, decent person. He was a thorough gentleman. Full of sincerity, humour and humility. He was great company. The last time I met him was after he had transferred to the Garda College after his prmotion. I only met Jer a couple of times through my work and found him to be an absolute gentleman. I was sorry to hear of his passing and send my condolences to his family.

Jer was a fantastic colleague and a person who you could always count on. He loved what he did but more importantly he loved his family very much. He had his priorities right and I can say that I will sorely miss our chats. To those he leaves behind I can only offer heartfelt condolences.

Only found out today about jer’s passing. I was apart of the Garda rugby team that jer trained to winning the all Ireland colleges competition. Great memories of him, he was a legend and a gentleman. Condolences to his family
