Sincere condolences to Derry , Marina and Barry on your father’s passing . He was always cheerful and pleasent . Remember the trips in his wheelbarrow as a youngster in his large vegetable patch at the back of his house .Also remember him cutting the hay at the back of our house where he had his herd of cows . May he rest in peace . There was a very small stream at the back of our house which Sonnie diverted to water his cows .The frogs used to croak mad at night every night . Sonnie solved that problem for us . Along term employee of cahalane brothers as a builder / carpenter . Extremely good at making and repairing things like my dad . Called Sonnie because of his sunny disposition that’s what your mum said when I asked so of course it must be true . RIP Sonnie .
