We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of this very amiable man .I was not long in town when I was approached by Jim just before Christmas of 1979 requesting me to be on the alert for anyone who I felt needed help at Christmas. He was using the good offices of SVP to ensure nobody was to go without . I had many more examples of his kindness down through the years and his compassion for the poor and the downtrodden was always predominant. Jim your work here is done and you are about to be rejoined with Bridie and so to secure lodgings and peace forever -sleep well Jim. RIP

Bridie. I remember Jim so well from when Hills mill was in Kent Street, our house was just down the street, Jim was in the office with Tony Hurley
