Condolences to all the Crowe family. Jimmy and Dad, Seamus, were great friends....so much so that when i was born, in August 1961, Dad was busy saving hay and asked his trusted buddy, Jimmy ,to collect Mam and me from the hospital! Jimmy often joked that he should have left me there!
My 88 year old Aunt Rose remembers Jimmy being good fun as a gang of young people went on a night time climb up Croke Patrick in the late 1950s. So we can imagine it wasnt prayers all the time on that climb.!

A true Gentleman and the best friend and neighbour. I will miss the daily phone calls and the long chats when we tried to put the world to right easier said than done. His sense of humour would brighten up any day. His farming advise and knowledge was always very useful. Always willing to lend a hand. You will be sadly missed Jimmy. Until we meet again.
