My wife and I had the pleasure of Jim's company on two trips to Ballymaloe with Tim Horan.
He left a lasting lifelong impression of a wonderful man, funny, charming, knowledgeable, courteous, and a true gentleman.
Thought we had one more trip to visit and tour with him the wonderful Irish countryside and enjoy his company but the good Lord seems to need his services.
Blessings to his family and may he rest in peace-although I think the Lord will keep him busy!

Jim felt like a lifelong friend from the moment we first met him. Over the years, it would take one phone call to feel like we had seen each other just yesterday. We had always hoped to get back to Ballymaloe to see Jim and Wendy again. For now, he will rest in our fondest memories. He was, indeed, a kind and gentle man and we are proud to say, a friend.
