Dear Carmel I am so very sorry for your sad loss of your soulmate and best friend Jimmy after so many wonderful years together. I remember Jimmy as a thorough gentleman, a loving husband, Father and grandfather and as a dear friend. So many great memories of shared times with you and Jimmy remain with me and it has been a privilege to have known him over the past forty years. I have no doubt that Jimmy is reunited with Colm now. I also believe that he remains with you in spirit and continues to look after you all. May his gentle soul rest in peace and light.

The news of Jimmy's passing is a great source of sadness which is only a shadow of your own I know. It was a wonderful grace to have him as part of my Marist journey. May the Risen Lord embrace him with healing and reward his generous, joyful, and gentle soul with peace. He joins his many Marist friends and takes his place at the Eternal Banquet.
