To all the Laydon family and Farrell family my Deepest Sympathys.
Jimmy, one of lifes Gentlemen. I love telling the story about Jimmy. He often would have a pint in Murray's. On this occasion Jimmy comes in, orders his pint, sits in his usual spot. When he got settled, he would remove from his inside pocket a neatly folded page with the horse racing of the day and do his few bets.
On with the glasses, after a few minutes Jimmy looked up, " lads there's a horse running today called " a packet of biscuits " Jimmy got great laugh out of this. "Can i have another pint and a packed of biscuits". Jimmy finished his pint and folded back into his pocket the racing page. On leaving and in the doorway, Jimmy looked back and said, " lads dont forget your packet of biscuits" i can still hear Jimmy's short giggle as the door closed. He will be sadly missed by everyone that knew him in Murray's. RIP Jimmy.
