Sincere sympathy to Bebeanne & The O'Mahony Family on the sad passing of your brother Jimmy, a great friend of our father Peadar Hayes and a great friend to his parish and the Gaelic Athletic Association, I will always cherish the sond of Jimmy's voice, when he spoke it was a pleasure to listen him, as he shared his charisma in a way like that of the late Micheál MacLiammóir, the first time was at a West Cork Board meeting in The Bostonian Hotel in the late 1960's, I was 16 at the time and in the company of Peadar my father and Kevin Pak McCarthy, I was lucky to meet so many people like Jimmy and his ilk who brought a wider view to my life, may the Lord grant Jimmy the welcome he deserves to the table of the Board Meeting in Heaven, rest in peace Jimmy mo chairde Gael.

Sincere sympathy to the O Mahony family Newcestown on the passing of Jimmy RIP - our own late father (Jerry O' Sullivan NT) was along with Jimmy & others involved in the formation and early years of Newcestown GAA , in our earlier years, Jimmy was well known to us through our Dads involvement with the club and so we remember Jimmy with affection and kindness. Alas we never had much by way of GAA ability ourselves but for all of that, if you turned up for training & on match day, you would get a game - so for that spirit of "believing everyone deserved a run out", we remember Jimmy and say "go raibh maith agat -agus go maire se suaimhneas - Conchubair O Suilleabhain, Dr Na Bandan
