I remember him fondly from Emmett Place, St.Patrick’s hospital and from seeing him many times in St. Columba’s Church in Douglas.
Mum (Kay) was very fond of him as she was of you.
My mother in law was a patient of St. Patrick’s for five years, so Jerh (my late husband) got to know Joe very well. Mum used to meet him as well in St. Patrick’s, as another resident of Emmett Place (Miss Rita Moran) was a patient there also.
