We have a fabulous walking stick at home that Joe made for my Dad years ago, with the word ‘Jerpoint’ inscribed on it. We bumped into Joe up the hill and Dad was admiring Joe’s walking stick and Joe went and made one especially for him. He was a talented man.

Sad to hear of Joe's passing and my condolences to Kathleen, Joe and Kathleen's children, grandchildren and extended family. A big loss to the community, Joe was an inspiring man. I have such fond memories of Joe from the 90s when I was a child growing up going to school in Ballytobin. I can remember Joe fixing a dry stone wall or a fence, he'd have a story or joke to share. I will always remember his smile. Goodbye Joe, Rest in peace.

Kathleen Daly is always helping everyone else she is possibly the most selfless person I know. Thanks Kathleen for the care you gave Joe since he was diagnosed 12 months ago and especially over the past few months. I was very fond of Joe. He brought Mick shopping each Sat morning and would always drop in for a chat. Always in good form he brightened even the dullest of days.
Ian and Leone were so important to Joe and sincere sympathy to you all as well as Davy and Amanda and his grandchildren also to the Daly And Lannon families and all Joes relatives and friends. Together with Brian may Joe Now Rest In Peace. Sim.
