Dear Veronica

I only learnt of John's death tonight, at art class, from Mary Perry. I am so very sorry for your and your family's great loss. John was such a nice man to know and was never at a loss for words. You were both in my prayers since I heard about his illness. May he rest in peace. I will call to see you in a little while.
