Deepest sympathy to Anne, Louise and family. Johnny was a great comrade and an even greater friend. We both joined B Coy 21 Inf Bn around the same time way back in 1974 and soldiered together right up to 2016 in 7 Bn Reserve. He will be remembered as one the very best NCO’s. He will be sadly missed, always full of cheerfulness and divilment, would sing a song at any gathering, whether asked or not and always had a joke to tell for every occasion.
He proudly served his country. Stand at Ease Soldier, your duty is done. Will miss you big time Johnny.
