I knew John since 1979 working in Roadstone an exceptional character never a dull moment. We cooked in the van and during the shooting season John brought rabbits, pheasants, ducks and in the fishing season we had trout, Perch and eels nothing left but the bones. Every lake or river we passed on the way to work had to be checked out John, Ferina and dogs would fish them at the weekends the dogs were treated as part of the family a sign of a good person.
Work was fun for him always first in and when Eric arrived it was double the crack.
I hope that John and Ferina find a nice lake to fish
