John CONNOLLY

RIP my good friend. For 25 years in Dublin John was my best friend. He was honest, supportive and generous.
Im from Iraq, John taught me English for free, and i went on to get a job as an interpreter.
So thank you John and our memories will stay with me for ever. I miss you so much.

So sorry to hear of John’s death. I knew him through my brother Mick Cummins.
John was a gentle man with many talents. Such a sad loss of a great brain and a lovely person.

To my dear Godfather and Uncle John, I am so very sad to see you sail off on your final journey. Madly intelligent and intelligently mad, you were always an inspiring free spirit, a refreshing and surprising alternative to convention, like a gentleman character that escaped from the pages of an unfinished James Joyce story. I loved your sly wit and insight and your loyalty and love for your adoring twin, my Mum. You will be sadly missed by me, Anika, Zoe, Adrian and Elke. Rest in Peace, dear John.
