It was always such a pleasure to meet him at the Cotter family special occasions where his lovely smile and great sense of humour made the day. His love of his family always shone through and there is no doubt of the great love you all had for him and the care, especially you Pat, took of him.
The town of Cobh had the greatest respect for him also for his naval duty and the care he took of all Cobh bus services travellers to Dublin over the years. May John's gentle soul rest in the arms of the angels.
