My deepest sympathy to each of John’s family — one very special man — I still have fond memories of his teaching me the basics of the game of rugby, in advance of attending my first ever game, at Lansdowne Road, in March 1956 — at that time he worked for my father, in Ballyhard, and had played the game, while previously attending school at Garbally College, Ballinasloe. May his fine and gentle soul now Rest in Peace.
May John rest in eternal peace Condolences and 🙏💐
