I am deeply saddened by the news. John has been a mentor and guide at Toastmasters to me and others and a lovely person to spend time with. He will be missed very much. My sincere condolences to the family.

My deepest sympathies to the all the Fennessy family on your sad loss. He was 2nd House Captain and Captain of the CCR Senior Rugby Team. As you can see from the death notice he did some wonderful work in the Middle East and in Eastern Europe. He was such a kind generous soul. May he find the peace he deserves now that his journeys are done.

Shocked to hear of John's passing. Deepest sympathy to the Fennessy family. John was one of the stalwarts of the Roscrea Class of '61 - and captain of the rugby team. He was a gentle and caring person and a great supporter of our various Reunions over the years, and his presence will be sorely missed.
