I was saddened to learn of the passing of my old friend Johnny, we first met when were in the started secondary school together, and we remained friends.
My condolences to Betty, Shane and all the Greenan family. Johnny was a complete gentleman and will be sorely missed.

So sorry to hear of the sad passing of John. He was one of lifes true gentlemen, I met him in the Cable Management days. Condolences to Betty and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My deepest condolences to John's family on the loss of a very lovely man. He was deeply kind to my late mother Eileen and regularly drove my sisters and I and family to various events and home. He had a wry sense of humour and enjoyed some stories I told him which I recalled from my late father Pat, from Boyle. He spoke so highly of his family. He will be mourned as one of Boyle's finest gentlemen.

My sincere sympathy to the extended Greenan family on Johnny’s passing. My earliest memory of him goes back to the national school leagues & what would now be classified as a local derby - Deerpark v Tawnytaskin. It was lovely to meet up with him again in recent years.
