John Hanna

My sincere condolences to Geraldine and all of John's family. His work in St. Augustine’s was an inspiration to many. I was witness to his insight and wisdom at many meetings. His was a champion of those who were disadvantaged and encouraged those of us in education to think outside the box to ensure everyone had access to education. You and all who love John are in my thoughts and prayers.

So sorry and sadly I didnt make it to the funeral because of a touch of Covid. The funeral was wonderful with Ronan, Shane, Ger and superb homily by Fr Dan Neenan.

He was not just a teacher, but a mentor, a friend, and a guiding light in many peoples lives.
