It is with deep regret that I learned of John’s sad passing. A true gentleman, in every sense of the word. It was my privilege to have know John in life and to have received his help and advice, particularly, during my career in Kilkenny County Council.

I got to know John through our time together in Bennettsbridge Men's Shed which he thoroughly enjoyed. It was an honour and privilege to get to know this wonderful, intelligent, generous and kind gentle, gentleman.
From now on the grass will be a little less green around Bennettsbridge.
