I was saddened to learn of Johns untimely passing today. It was a privilege and an honour to work alongside John when he set out to be our local representative on the Kilkenny County Council. In victory he served all the people of this area with empathy and fairness. Johns father Neddy was a founder member of Piltown Credit Union in 1970 and on his death John served on the board, again with distinction. Condolences to all Johns family and loved ones. Paddy.
