Growing up we always knew John’s life story… He use to come to Roscrea every summer as a child to stay in my great Aunt Sara and Joe’s home and was so close with Pauline and they had many happy childhood memories together and many more all through their adult lives. He will be sadly missed by us all. John was a beautiful man and Lorraine was a lady. May they be reunited together. My Mum Josephine (Jo) and our family are thinking of you Claire and Niall and all of your family at this sad time 💕

Our deepest sympathies to all the family at this time, I worked with John as both a commis and a trained waiter in Jurys and the Westbury, he always had a smile and a little bit of mischievous about him in a good way, even though I had not seen him in a while until a few years ago when his lovely daughter Claire was singing in a local hostelry, he was so proud and we had a great chat.
