Peggy, Emer, Pat and the kids,
John was such a giant of a man, a true gentleman, and always a very kind uncle to my siblings and I. We have such wonderful memories of John, his great stories and witty remarks, his love of Mayo GAA, of golf, his pride in his family. The service today was beautiful. Emer's eulogy was very touching and was a testament to the love between father and daughter. He got a wonderful send off even in this terrible Covid times. Gone but never forgotten.
