I met John over 70 years ago at CBS Midleton. He was a first class student and continued through with his outstanding life service at Healy Bros. It was a privilege to have known John. My sympathy to all his family and friends

He will be remembered for many good reasons, but my memories are of the most well dressed and fashion conscious man I ever encountered, even down as far as The Mill Wheel in the Good Old Days when we all met up to socialise. May he now enjoy eternal rest in heaven, in the joy of reuniting with his beautiful wife Angela. ❤️
