To Carmel, Susan, Damian, Alexander, Brian, Aisling and your families, we are so sorry to hear of the sad passing of Joe. We only met him a couple of times, when he was happy and proud to be surrounded by his loving family. Although we can't be with you tomorrow, much as we would like to be, you will all be in our hearts and minds, and when it is the right time to celebrate Joe's life and memories, Yvonne will be bringing Alexander to buy that suit. I was deeply saddened when I learned that Joe, my beloved schoolmate and friend for 67 years had died.

We shared a great love of music, most especially jazz, and our conversations were always a pleasure. He was a kind, cultured, gentle man and to say I liked him a lot is an understatement. I will miss him greatly.

To Brian, Susan, Aisling and Carmel and extended families, I send my heartfelt sympathy and warm regards.
