Sincere condolences to P.J., Mary, Críona and Niall, extended family and Netty's large circle of friends. My late father, Billy, was very friendly with both Murty and Netty. They met at many "horsey" events and ploughing matches, too. He always spoke with great fondness of them both, a strong, loyal and happy couple. It appeared to me that Netty was the backbone of the relationship and supported both Murty and their children in all their interests and pursuits.
She will have to take a chair to the sky with her because of the welcome Murty will have for her and I'm sure they will have the longest catch-up. The pipe will be lit, and she can fill Murty in on the latest goings on.
