Anne, Paul, Ruth and Emily and the extended Macken family, I was so sorry to hear of your mothers passing, Yourself, Anne and Maureen and Deirdre were great daughters to her and I know you will sadly miss her. Thinking of you at this sad time and I am sorry I missed the funeral.

Sad to learn of the death of “Babs Heneghan” as we knew her long ago (60+ years ) when we used to cycle to Ballymartin with our mother, leave our bikes in the good care of Babs and get the bus to Galway. We looked forward to collecting our bikes afterwards as we’d have such a lovely chat and cuppa waiting for us…the good old days….

Very sorry to hear of the death of Babe Macken whom i knew so well when I was living in Ireland.
In my early years my late mother Mary keane would take me and my sisters to visit almost every 2 months in a Saturday evening and this gave me a great chance tog et to know this wonderful family so well.
Babes hospitality was always exceptional and she was such a kind and caring person.
My condolences to all the family and indeed from all the Keane family.
