We have many fond memories of John and Kay as neighbours at 'the thatched cottage' which they lovingly restored. We remember especially their generous nature, returning home from America with gifts for us as kids. I have special memories of John telling us the story of the characters from their willow ware in their dresser, those images have stayed with me. The last time I spoke to Kay was during the heavy snow in January 2025 when we were without power and water. When I called over she was better equipped than myself with the bath full of water, landline connected and the car running! A most capable and independent woman. Apologies I will not make the funeral. My condolences to all who mourn the loss of Kay.

Iam sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Kathleen(Kay). I would call into see her when i was over from England. She passed on many stories and memories to me, that i shall treasure. She's now at peace with your Dad.
