Remembering my beloved sister Kathleen. The last couple of months were difficult for Kathleen as she battled multiple health issues. She is at peace now, after a life lived on her terms. Thank you to the palliative care team and staff at Cavan General Hospital, and Esker Lodge Nursing Home. Kathleen was very proud of her children; Trina, Margaret, Therese and Sean T., and grandchildren. She will now be with her husband Victor again, and our siblings Tony, Anne and Gerry. Kathleen loved to reminisce about the happy days she spent living in New York in the 1950’s, working at the New York Telephone Co., and having her first Chinese dinner!
I will always remember fondly our times together in Ireland during my many visits, and the trips you took to the US to visit me. Rest peacefully Kathleen, I know you loved your prayers, so I think a special place is reserved for you.
