Dear Dad, this last year since your passing has gone by so quickly and we think of you each day. Thank you for all the times you gave us your help and support. We will always remember your passion for gardening, and the joy it brought to all our family and friends. Although you are no longer with us, we have comfort knowing that you are now in peace and light.
God bless and God rest, Geraldine and Laurence xx

Dear Carol, thank you so much for your lovely message on my father's RIP page. It was such a surprise to hear you were born in Rugby and now live close to the Artane area. I'm glad you have fond memories of growing up in Rugby as a child. Yes, each passing anniversary is hard but I remember them with gratitude. My mother and father are now at peace after two long lives well-lived. I also send my sympathies to you and all your family on the passing of your father. Thank you for your kindness in sharing your story. It's much appreciated and my mother and father would have been delighted to have read it. Take care of yourself too, Geraldine
Geraldine and Laurence, my deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your father, i know exactly what you are going through, even though it's been a year, it's always very hard, the 1st month, the 1st birthday, 1st Christmas, 1st anniversary , the loss , the emptiness, the pain, the realisation only hits you as time goes on, realising we won't see them anymore, harder too , for you , because your mother has passed too , then again, maybe it helps knowing that they are together again, as a relative told me, you never get over it , you just learn to accept it ,for some it takes a long time, my father was 87 ,when he passed, 3 years ago, i didn't know your dad, or your mum , don't know either of you, but i hope you don't mind me sending this, wasn't sure whether to, but just couldn't ignore the coincidence, when i saw Rugby, Warwickshire, i couldn't ignore it ,as i was born there, lived there for 1st 10 years of my life, it's rare to see the name of Rugby, in Dublin, other than sports, i have a lot of memories of it ,our fathers are the same age, maybe they even knew each other, both my parents are from Dublin, and i actually live 5 minutes drive from Artane ,coincidence definitely, again I sorry for your loss, hope you don't mind this, thinking of you and all your family, take care
