Very saddened to hear of Liam's passing. He was a giant of the schoolboys game here in Ireland and his contribution should be recognised by the Football Association of Ireland. He gave so much time and effort to the promotion and development of underage football and even in death he is to be applauded and congratulated for the magnificent effort over so many years of dedicated service. A pleasure to know him and I will hold nothing but fond memories. Sleep safely Liam, you've earned your rest.
