Thank you for your warmth and goodness, and for your natural Irish welcome.

I remember you from the very first evening I came to McLaughlin’s. You had a way of noticing people and making them feel at ease. Your openness was part of that welcome, and you were part of what made it a pleasure to come to each monthly meet-up. You had already been such an important part of the German-Irish club long before I joined, and that was easy to see.

My deepest condolences to Lilly's family. I enjoyed every English lesson, which Lilly had prepared for us. She had so much patience and she was very helpful. Lilly was an open, warm and deeply impressive person. She had this rare ability to treat everyone with genuine kindness and honest interest. Her warmth was palpable, her smile contagious—and her positive nature made every room a little brighter.
I admired Lilly for how effortlessly she reached out to people, how she opened doors and touched hearts. She enriched my life – not only through her openness, but through all the special moments we shared. We laughed together and experienced so much lightheartedness. And I will never forget how much we both loved elephants – those strong, gentle creatures that stand for solidarity and heart. That's exactly how Lilly was: strong, warm, affectionate, and full of emotion.
Lilly leaves behind a legacy – a legacy of kindness, courage, warmth, and authenticity. I will miss her infinitely.

So sorry to hear the news of Phyllis passing! I have very fond memories of our childhood times together! We became friends back in baby infants at the age of 4 years old right up to our teenage years! Then as it does life got in the way and we went our separate ways!

Our times spent together as children hold precious memories in my heart and I will never forget those times with you!

I recall her having the responsibility bringing me as a cadet on my first International trip with the Order of Malta. We all missed her when she left for Germany and we miss her again now. When she left the room I always got nervous. Even I knew she is not far away. Saying goodbye in the morning, leaving for work or for shopping, I always was concerned to see her coming back in the evening. Hours without my soulmate were lonely hours. Now she left the room forever. My body and mind are numb.
