Today we salute a great Cavan man - A legend behind the bar in Thomas Ashe Street in Cavan where he saluted us with military aplomb every time we entered the bar or lounge in the glory days of the Cavan Leader at No 21 Farnham street - LINUS was a real character - one of the last great gentlemen of the trade and always good fun too. RIP Linus

Dear Maura, Helen,Linus,Linda and Padraig. We have great memories of Linus. He was such a wonderful host, a great conversationalist and I envied his garden!
