Sincere condolences to Máire's family and friends on her death. We knew her as Deasy or Ms. Deasy. She was a brilliant teacher with a huge heart and was very fair. I've fond memories of her singing "By the banks of my own lovely Lee" in class one day after Sr. Pius asked us to ask her to sing it. She never forgot her roots.
