Our deepest condolences to all of Margaret’s Children and families, you have lost a very special lady, The chats our Mum Jojo and herself would have on a Sunday night would extend to hours and they never ran out of things to talk about, she was so proud of each and everyone of you, it was almost like somebody switched on an inner light when she spoke of you all, her aura was nothing short of pure love. I remember so well, her as a young woman up in aunty Bridget’s house and the teas and chats - not too many people get out of this world with nobody having a bad word to say about them but by God your mam achieved it. I had the pleasure of knowing Margaret since our school days in Lisselton and in more recent times we would meet on the road and stop for a friendly chat.It was always a joy to meet Margaret, always so kind,warm-hearted, friendly and in good humour.We shared fond memories about our younger days!.Margaret was a wonderful mother and deeply loved and cared for her family. I offer my deepest condolences to Margaret's children and grandchildren. I was shocked to hear that Margaret has passed away. We had a great chat on the town bus about two weeks ago. She was so proud of all her children and grandchildren and loved ye deeply and I know ye were so good to her. I can honestly say that Margaret was one of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever known. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Eoin, Loretta, Caroline and Thomas. Such adoration your mam had for you, her children. She loved you all deeply and proudly. Mrs Canty was one of the best, kindest, selfless people I have had the honour to have known.
I know her passing will be felt with deep sorrow, but equally her memory will carry on in her children and grankids - she showed you the standard of what it means to be kind and giving of your time.
