It was a pleasure getting to know Margaret. She was good company, and always had a good sense of humor. Sending love to her family and friends.

So sad to hear of Maggie May's passing. I have happy memories of visits to "Cap" and of her hospitality. She delighted in showing the magical world of farm life to us city children. May she rest in peace.

Dan Lucey was my father and cousin of Dan Scully.
I am very sorry to hear of Maggie Mays death and wish i had known last week to attend her funeral and join in the celebration of her life.
We as a family in the 60's loved our visits from Dublin to Kanturk and especially our day in Cap. with Dan and Maggie May. Her apple tarts were legendary and her their warmth was lovely.

I had the pleasure of spending a Saturday afternoon buying a winter coat with Maggie. When she choose a glamorous grey one she had to pick out gloves, scarf and hat to match. She was well known in the shop. She was wise and had a great turn of phrase. Being a country girl I could identify with her. A life well lived and may she rest in peace
