Sincere sympathy to all the McDonagh family on the sad death of your beloved Marie,RIP.

I've known Marie since 1960, when I went to work in Limerick and I must say she was one of the best and most lovable characters I've ever met. If you were in bad humour and happened to meet Marie, everything changed immediately.

I left Limerick in 1969 and unfortunately didn't meet her too often afterwards, until my second last visit there about two years ago, I decided to go to Corbally Road, where Marie was holding court with some friends in the front garden.
The stories and laughter began and lasted for over an hour. What entertainment!
