We did the Orthotic clinic together every month in Enable Ireland for so many years - always with fun and a chat as her children fled the nest & mine were born. Precious memories of a dear friend from Physio training days. I will never forget Marie’s kindness, her generosity, her honesty, her sense of fun and of course her infectious laugh. We first met at GLTC where we enjoyed many a game of tennis and even more chats at the net! If I collected Marie she would inevitable arrive out to the car with a little bag that had a delicious homemade treat. I will treasure her warmth, her compassion, her kind-heartedness and I will never forget her wonderful welcoming smile. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam álainn uasal.

I was very sorry to hear of Marie’s death. I used to play tennis with her and would bump into her when she went for a swim in Ocean Fitness. I always enjoyed having a chat with her. May she rest in peace

Sincere sympathy on the passing of Marie. I had the pleasure of knowing her many years ago both before i commenced my Physio training in Belfast ( on her recommendation) and as an undergraduate through doing a physiotherapy placement with her in Enable in Galway. She inspired in me a real interest in paediatrics and i have worked for Enable Ireland in Cork for over 20 years now. She was such a kind and gentle soul.
