Sincere Sympathies to Maureen, Gerald, Noreen, John Francis and all the extended Murphy & Doody families on the death of Marty. Marty was such a gentleman. He was so good to all of us when we were younger driving us near and far to different sporting activities and always supportive. Through the years we had many a good chat which usually ended in talking about Rockchapel GAA. He was always smiling and cheerful and will be dearly missed. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Maureen and family, we are so sorry to hear of the loss of Martin. My husband Jeff and my children Erin and Jeffrey will never forget the great time we had with you in August of 2006. My grandmother, Bridgid (Murphy)Cosgrove told me so much about the home she had grown up in and her family still in Ireland. As soon as I got there, I felt the love and it was HOME. Marty was a kind, gentle man with a chat and smile for everyone. I have fond memories of learning how to dance the polka set in their house while the team practised for the Scór competitions. Alice and I would be tutored by Maureen and Mary during the break in practice. They never seemed to need the rest!!!!!
