I have a sprinkling of fond memories over the decades; crowding into her P&T van enroute to the circus with her children, four of us sharing poetry and stories while taking turns rowing from Woodquay to Menlo with a picnic, and visits to 'The Tearooms' in Dangan House ...

I only heard the sad news today. Mary was a beautiful person. She worked for me in flowers by Laura and Newcastle Road and I have to say there was never a dull moment with her. She was kind and loving. Rest in peace Mary you will never be forgotten by all the staff who worked in the flower shop a truly loved person xx

Dear Paddy,
I was so shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of your sister Mary, who was also my neighbour, I would often see her passing by with her little dog on walks & we'd greet each other in passing. It's as though a thread in the carpet of our small estate has suddenly been pulled out of the carpet.
Wishing peace, comfort and ease at this very difficult time to you, Peter, your families and although I've not met you, especially to Sarah, Sean & Paddy on the passing of your dear Mum.

I was so saddened to hear of the untimely passing of your beautiful Mary. My heartfelt sympathies are extended to all of Mary’s siblings and her cherished children, and all the staff of Dangan House. Mary often swung by my house when my children were small, delivering her beautiful floral bouquets, which I was so appreciative for. I always loved our chats when we’d bump into each other, exchanging updates on where Mary’s children were in life and vice versa. Mary had such a lovely way about her, and that beautiful smile of hers will be vividly remembered.

We are so shocked and saddened to hear that Mary has passed so suddenly from this world. Mary was full of kindness. She was a welcome visitor to our house when we were children and always good company. She helped care for my Dad when he had serious health issues and was really wonderful to him and us. . Mary was always kind and thoughtful and warm and I admired her so much. She was a beautiful Lady. I am so sorry to Sean, Paddy and Sarah for your great loss and of course I am so sorry to all the lovely cunningham Family and Marys friends.
