It was with great sadness that I learned of Mary's passing on Sunday morning. Mary was a great friend, a great character and she fought a great battle, but unfortunately it got the better of her in the end. I will truly miss Mary's phone calls, conversations and especially the cup of coffee in the back lounge in the Mayfly any time I was in Oughterard. Mary had a great zest for life and a great love for her family, who I know will sadly miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with the Walsh and Flood families at this very sad time.
