Heartfelt condolences on the loss and passing of Mary. Mary was such a kind, gentle, talented teacher (Drishane Convent, Millstreet) who had so much empathy, light and wit. Really saddened by Mary's sudden loss, as are many of my classmates.
Thinking of you all, and Mary at this time, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I will always remember Mary for the heart and soul she brought to every single Irish and French class during my time at St. Brendan's. Always the one to reach out with support, Mary showed the compassion and empathy that was often hard to come by in an all-boys secondary. The world is that bit more bleak in her passing, and she will be missed greatly.

Mary O’Donoghue was an amazing teacher, mentor, and friend. She taught and supported many in St. Brendan’s College over the course of her career. I will forever remember her kindness, warmth, and the positive impact she has had on my life and the lives of many others who have had the privilege of being one of her students.
