Especially your laugh and sense of humour❣

I was very fond of her.

She was so warm and welcoming and good company too.
She also had a special gift of knowing how to comfort someone going through a bereavement, as she did for me.

May you all get comfort in the hope that you will all be reunited with her again some day...

Dear Ita, Amelia, Ingrid, Anne and Elizabeth, I was very sad to hear your beloved mammy and nana has passed away. My thoughts and prayers have been with you all. I am glad I got the chance once to meet her when she was staying in Ubley. Over the many years our families have been friends, she was very often mentioned by you all, so I know she will be greatly missed. I hope you can take some comfort in that she reached a considerable age and all your happy memories of her in your lives. Olivia, Helena and Imogen share too in your sorrow and we send much love to you all.

I met her when we came to Mullingar in the 80s…my son Gary was in the same class as Frank in CBS primary and became good friends and spent time in each other’s homes…she treated Gary like one of the family. Maureen will be fondly remembered by the McManus family for her sense of humour and wit. My mum (Rosemary, nee Fagan) has told me many of Maureen's amusing phrases and I'm sure they will continue to be regaled in years to come.
