It was really lovely to make contact again in Simpsons, you will all be in our thoughts today, we are sorry that we can’t be there. I really enjoyed the slide show what a beautiful lady, I saw lots of happy memories that you will always have. May she rest in peace.

Very sad to hear of the loss of my Auntie Maureen. I remember her great sense of humour and was always so kind and generous during the many summers I spent in Blackwater as a child with all my cousins, aunts and uncles. Thank you for such fond memories. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family. Rest in Peace xx

Oh such fond memories of summer holidays spent with my auntie Maureen and Uncle Sean and all my cousins in Churchtown and down in Wexford. I was always made so welcome, and loved hearing all her amusing stories about people I didn’t know and would never meet. Bless you Maureen for being such a wonderful Mother, sister to my mum Patricia, auntie, granny, neighbour and friend to many. Sincere condolences to my dear Irish family who I know will miss this wonderful woman so much, but a long life well lived for sure. How lucky I was to have her in my life. RIP Maureen Wade

To all the Wades, your mum was such a beautiful lady with an equally warm smile, as in the photo. Remembering fondly all the jumpers she knit for us over the years, including two fab lilac coloured, short sleeved summer jumpers with yellow heart shaped buttons, that when finished were posted to us at the Gaelteacht. We were the height of fashion! Your mum was so talented.

I have such lovely memories of Mrs. Wade, she was like another nanny to me during all the happy times spent in Duncannon and Churchtown. I used to love when I would visit and she made her 4x4 cake and walnut buns. We are so sorry we can't make it to the funeral but we are thinking of you all at this sad time. RIP.
